RIP Photography by Oliver James Cargill This gentleman was a local hero in my eyes. He lived in the next town from me, in Otley, West Yorkshire. He would parade the streets of Otley with his beloved parrot on his shoulder talking away to each other without care in the world. I woke up this morning with this image of him I took while out searching for photos one day, i wasn’t sure why. I then asked my mother if she had seen him around lately as I hadn’t. She informed me that he had killed himself and left the parrot at the local pet shop moments before his death.  This news has sadden me greatly but glad I had just one photo of him. What a great individual. RIP.
